Wetland Walk: Turtles Are Our Neighbours

Join Carolynne, co-founder of Turtle Protectors for a wetland walk in High Park to celebrate and honour the Mamma Turtles living in the area. Turtle carries deep meaning and teachings to many Indigenous peoples around the Earth. All eight species of turtles are at risk in Ontario.

The walks will focus on Etuaptmumk (two eyed seeing), a concept spoken by Mi’kmaw Elder Albert Marshall.

This event is free and family friendly. Feel free to invite your family and friends.
